Teen Admits It Was Possible He Ignored Please Of 'No" During Alleged Sexual Assault Outside Texas Bar: Report
A teen in Texas told police that it was possible he ignored pleas of “no” during a sexual assault outside a bar, according to a report.
Colton Canada, 18, was arrested in Archer County, Texas, according to KDFX. He was charged with sexual assault and has since been released.
A Texas Ranger spoke with the victim, who said on April 30 she met Canada at a part in Archer County, according to the report. She said she was drinking and dancing with Canada. But she became hot and dizzy and said she wanted to go outside.
Canada walked her to her car and helped her in the back seat, according to KDFX. He then got in the back seat with her.
She said Canada started to kiss and grope her, despite her saying she wasn’t interested. The victim said she started to cry and told Canada “no” and to “Stop.” Canada told the victim to let him finish.
Police spoke to Canada, who admitted to taking the victim to her car and then having sex, according to KDFX. He said he didn’t hear the victim say now, but it was possible he ignored her pleas.
Canada said the victim said she was hurting and that is when he put his pants back on, apologized and said he was trying not to hurt her.
