Reality TV Star Tried To Pin Husband's Murder On Unknown Man Who Tossed Gun Into Their Truck: Report
A woman shot her husband and then told police another man did it and tossed the murder weapon into their car, according to authorities. But, police say, they figured out her lies and charged the spouse with murder.
Last week, police in Denton, Texas, arrested Amber Rosales in connection to the death of her husband, 31-year-old Jeffrey McBride.
Police responded to multiple 911 calls on April 25 and one person said her husband had been shot, according to Denton police. Another caller said a truck crashed into the front yard of a home.
When officers arrived, they found McBride in the driver’s seat and Rosales in the passenger’s seat.
McBride was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said. He later died.
Rosales told police she and her husband stopped to talk to a man. The unknown man then shot at her husband from the passenger side door and tossed the gun in the truck before running away, according to police.
Investigators determined there were multiple inconsistencies in Rosales’ story and she was the only person present when McBride was shot. Police have not released a motive in the case.
Rosales was charged with murder and is being held in jail on $500,000 bond.
According to the U.S. Sun, Rosales was on the MTV show, "Big Tips Texas."
