Man kidnaps woman from car wash, sexually assaults her and kicks her out of own car: report

A 19-year-old man from Texas has been accused of kidnapping a woman from a car wash and then sexually assaulting her before kicking her out of her own vehicle, police say.

On Nov. 28, the San Antonio Police Department said officers received a call from a 58-year-old woman stating she was abducted at a car wash.

According to the woman, the man displayed a gun and demanded she get inside her vehicle on the passenger side, police said.

The man, later identified as 19-year-old Francisco Javier Juarez Gonzalez, drove to an unknown location and sexually assaulted her before dropping her off somewhere on the south side of San Antonio, KSAT reported.

Gonzalez then drove back to the car wash to get his own vehicle, police said.

Detectives used surveillance footage from the car wash to capture the suspect’s description and vehicle, authorities said.

On Nov. 30, officials said they spotted Gonzalez’s vehicle and made an attempt to pull the car over, but the suspect and another man both ran away.

Police caught both men. In court records, police said they found a red shirt in Gonzalez’s home matching the description of a shirt seen in the surveillance footage, KSAT stated.

According to authorities, Gonzalez admitted to meeting the woman at the car wash, but he claims it was consensual.

He was booked into the Bexar County Jail on charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault and evading arrest, police said. His bond was set at $40,000, KSAT reported.
