Texas dad pulled knife on high school girls for bullying daughter, now faces charges: cops

A Texas man pulled a knife on high school girls who were reportedly bullying his daughter, police said.
Thomas Brown was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on Jan.27. He reportedly told police in Wichita Falls, Texas. he was trying to protect his daughter from bullies at school
Witnesses and a victim said Brown put a knife to a girl’s throat near Wichita Falls High School, according to KFDX-TV.
When asked if he was armed, police said Brown pulled out a black-handled pocket knife and gave it to the officer.
Brown reportedly agreed to tell the officer what had happened, and he was probably going to jail.

Police said, “he freely spoke about the incident even after being read his rights, handing over the pocket knife and even physically reenacting the event with officers when they asked him to demonstrate what had happened,” according to KAUZ 29 News.
Brown was placed into custody in the Wichita County Jail, with a bond set at $10,000.
