Texas man arrested for murder after body was found in his trunk, police say

A murder victim was found in the trunk of a car after police saw bloodstains on his vehicle, according to police in Texas. Now, officers arrested a 20-year-old in connection to the murder.
Around 10:20 p.m. on May 3, the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call with reports of gunshots.
When deputies arrived, they found blood stains on a vehicle parked in the road.
Deputies then found the lifeless body of a man in the trunk of the car. The victim, who was later identified as Salvador Sanchez, appeared to have suffered from a gunshot wound, according to the sheriff's office.
Police identified Gerardo Gonzalez, 20, as a suspect. He was arrested on May 5 in Brownsville, Texas, by sheriff’s investigators and U.S. Marshals, according to the sheriff's office. Hew was arrested without incident.
Gonzalez was charged with first-degree murder, and his bond has been set at $2 million.
