The woman told police that someone at the apartment contacted her brother before he made it to the apartment complex. According to CBS News, the woman told police that Brown and Hunt "engaged in an argument" in the living room. She said she walked down the hallway, away from them, and still heard them arguing before a moment of silence and then several gunshots.

According to CBS News, a witness who lives nearby told police that Brown told Hunt, "I told you, you are not going to keep putting your hands on my sister." The witness said they heard four gunshots and then saw Brown run down the stairs, get in his car and drive away.

Brown is in Arlington City jail facing a murder charge.
