A woman shot and killed a neighbor over a dispute about an alleged murdered dog, police and reports say.
Around midnight on Sept. 6, police in Lacy Lakeview, Texas, got a call from a woman, Angie Bush, who said her neighbor tried to break into her home. Bush said she had a gun and was going to be forced to shoot, police said.
Officers arrived less than three minutes later and saw a woman exiting through a window, according to police.
That person was naked and covered in blood, police said. She was identified as Cynthia Ming.
Police went into the home and found Bush on the floor with multiple gunshots. Wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ming was also taken to the hospital. There, she told healthcare workers that she murdered Bush. Ming said she took away the gun from Bush and shot the victim in the head because she had killed Ming’s dog, according to KWTX.
Ming also said the blood on her was probably the victim’s, according to the report.
Police charged Ming with first-degree murder and booked her into jail.
