Police Responded To A Report Of A Mutilated Body. Then The Husband Confessed, Police Say.

A Texas man was arrested after his wife was found dead and her body mutilated, police say.
According to the Waller County Sheriff's Office, Jared James Dicus, 212, was arrested and charged with murder.
Police say that at approximately 4:30 p.m. Jan. 11 they received a call about a death at the 2000 block of Oak Hollow Blvd. near Magnolia. There, officers found a woman whose body was mutilated.

Waller County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Dicus on scene. Officers were advised that he was the woman's husband and was thought to be the perpetrator.
“The husband was interviewed and gave a full confession, admitting to the murder of his wife,” the police stated.
Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry said the woman's body was dismembers, and evidence showed a kitchen knife was used in the homicide, according to KXAN.
