Fight Among Several Men In Texas Ends When One Pulls Out Gun And Fires Fatal Shot: Police

An altercation between several men led one to pull out a gun and start shooting, police said. Now, he faces a murder charge.
On July 18, police in Amarillo, Texas, announced the arrest of 21-year-old Oscar Adame.
Around 4:20 a.m. on July 17, police responded to a hospital for a man who had been brought in with a gunshot wound. The victim was later identified as Javier Hernandez, 31.
Hernandez died at the hospital, police said.
Witness said the shooting happened on 11th Avenue in Amarillo. Hernandez was in a fight with several other men, and one pulled out a gun and shot him.
Investigators identified Adame as a suspect, and he was arrested.
Police have not said what led to the fight among the men.
Officer was arrested on a charge of murder and booked into the Potter County Detention Center, police said.
