19-year-old accused of stabbing her older sister to death during domestic dispute, cops said
A teenager is accused of stabbing her sister to death during a domestic incident in Texas, police said.
Last week, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Antonia Reyes, 19.
Around 5 p.m. on Feb. 4, deputies were sent to a home in Richmond, Texas, for a domestic disturbance, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators learned that two sisters were involved in the incident. During the encounter, Antonia Reyes stabbed her 20-year-old sister, Yasmin Reyes, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Investigators have not said what led to the fight between the sisters.
Antonia Reyes was charged with murder and booked into the Fort Bend County jail. Her bail was set at $250,000.
