Man shot to death, another victim stabbed with life-threatening injuries, Texas police said
One person was found shot to death and another stabbed with life-threatening injuries during an incident in Texas, police said.
Around 9:45 p.m. on March 19, police in Longview, Texas, responded to East Nelson Street for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found Eric Matthew Wynns, 44, with a gunshot wound, according to Longview police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was also a victim with multiple stab wounds, according to Longview police. That victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators identified Michael Lee Ralston as a suspect, and he was arrested. Police charged him with murder, and he is being held in jail on $500,000 bond. Authorities did not say how they identified him. They also did not release a motive in the case.
