Argument At Texas Convenience Store Ends With Homicide, Police Say

An argument ended when one person was shot to death at a convenience store and another was charged with murder, police said.
This month, police in Austin, Texas, announced the arrest of Jose Ehuric Hernandez, 29. He was charged in connection to the death of Juan Pablo Morales-Rivera.
Around 2 p.m. on Aug. 5, police responded to a shooting at a convenience store and found Morales-Rivera unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died, authorities stated.
Police said there was an argument between the two men that turned into a fight. It was then, Hernandez shot the victim.
Hernandez fled in Morales-Rivera’s vehicle, which was later found abandoned.
Authorities then responded to a reported carjacking and the suspect matched Hernandez, police said. Minutes later, police found the stolen vehicle and Hernandez was inside the vehicle.
Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder.
