Teen arrested after man found shot to death at Texas gas station, police say

A man has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed a man in a gas station parking lot in Austin, Texas.
On Sept. 9, Austin 911 dispatchers received a shots fired call at a gas station at 7701 Cameron Road.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man, identified as David Bryan Herrera, with gunshot wounds in the parking lot, according to Austin police.
Despite life-saving measures, Herrera, 22, died, according to police.

According to witnesses and video evidence, Herrera made a comment to the Black female driver of a silver Acura SUV as she was leaving the store.
There was a Black man, later identified as Charles Michael Deshawn Walker, 17, sitting in the front passenger seat of the Acura as the woman was walking back to the car.
Police say Walker exited the vehicle with a gun and shot at Herrera several times, according to Austin police.
Both the woman and the Walker got back into the SUV and left the scene, cops say.
On Oct. 4, police found Walker at a motel in Corpus Christi, Texas. Walker was taken into custody on a first-degree murder warrant issued by homicide detectives in Austin.
Walker is being held in the Nueces County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
