Around 11 p.m. Oct. 4, police said they went to a home in Edna for a disturbance call.
At the home, officers found an unresponsive 48-year-old woman lying in the front yard. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene from her injuries, according to authorities. The woman's name has not been released.
