Police are in need of help in identifying thieves that paddled up to a home in Washington and stole over $20,000 from the home, according to authorities.

According to the Clyde Hill Police, the burglars paddled up to the home on Lake Washington. They were then able to access the home’s private dock and broke into the house through the glass door.

After taking items from the house, the burglars were able to paddle away with the goods, police said.

Police did not confirm what items were taken from the home, but KING-TV reported that officers suggested over the scanner the burglars “took off with approximately $20,000 from the home.”

Officials said the home is located in Yarrow Point and they are hoping any further suspicious activity is reported as they continue to search for the suspects.

Mikail Johnston, a nearby resident, told KING-TV, “It’s not something I would expect from this area. This seems like some sort of ‘Mission Impossible’ type thing.”
