Mother Stabbed, Disemboweled Toddler During Alcohol-Fueled Rage Because He 'Didn't Stop Crying': Reports
An 18-month-old child in Russia was reportedly disemboweled by his mother when she drunkenly stabbed him.
The toddler, who was stabbed during an alcohol-fueled rage because he "didn't stop crying" survived and his mother was arrested, Knewz.com reported.
The horrific incident happened at a home in the village of Priyutovo in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
During a party at the home, the 22-year-old mother, identified by police only as "Aida," reportedly began arguing with her husband "Viktor," 28, after accusing him of having an affair, the Daily Mirror reported.
As the disagreement became heated, Viktor reportedly stormed out as Aida continued drinking alcohol. That's when the couple's son began crying in the next room, investigators said.
Police said Aida waited for the child to calm down on his own, but when he didn't, she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the stomach three times, according to the Mirror.
Aida then reportedly roamed the streets for a while before asking a pedestrian to call an ambulance for her son.
When paramedics arrived, they found the toddler in a pool of blood, the Mirror and the Daily Star reported. During a call to the police, the emergency crew could be heard saying, "Oh my God! His intestines are coming out!"
