Attack With Toilet Tank Lid Leads to Murder Charge for North Carolina Man, Police Say
A suspect in North Carolina is accused of killing another man with a toilet tank lid, authorities said.
Around 5:30 p.m. on June 1, police in Gastonia responding to a residence located Brandon Patty, 26, unresponsive and bleeding from his head and he was pronounced dead, WGHP reported.
Police identified 57-year-old James Thomas Robinson as a suspect in the murder case and said the two were living in the home together at the time of the incident.
Officials have not disclosed further details, including the pair's relationship, a possible motive or why they believe Robinson may have been the aggressor.

Robinson was being held without bond at the Gastonia County jail, according to WGHP.
