Arkansas man arrested for triple homicide of his wife and her parents, police say
An Arkansas man is accused of fatally shooting his wife as well as her mother and father, authorities said.
Around 9:40 p.m. on March 4, police responded to reports of a shooting outside a home near US Highway 63 in Hazen.
While enroute, law enforcement was told a suspect was driving a pickup truck, and officers were able to stop the vehicle and detain the driver, Michael Munnerlyn, 50, The News & Observer reported.
Officers arriving on the scene of the shooting found Munnerlyn’s wife, Mirranda Munnerlyn, 46, shot dead alongside her parents’, Amanda Turner, 62, and 64-year-old James Turner.

“The bodies of the three victims will be examined at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to confirm the manner and cause of death,” the Arkansas State Police said.
Officials have not released a possible motive for the crime.
