Man Went To A Convenience Store To Confess To Murder, Victim Found Dead At Nearby Apartment: Report
A man shot a person to death and then called police from a convivence store to turn himself in, according to a report.
Around 5:45 a.m. on April 7, police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, were called to an apartment complex for a reported homicide.
When officers arrived, they found Elliott Zachary, 44, dead outside of his apartment with a gunshot wound, according to Tulsa police.
Investigators identified Lucky Calvert as a suspect. Though, police did not say how he was identified or a possible motive in the shooting.
Police were also called to a convenience store where Calvert wanted to turn himself in for murder. Police went to the store and arrested him. He was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm.
