Man Who Allegedly Beat His Twin Brother To Death Arrested In Louisiana, Cops Say
A man in Louisiana is accused of beating his twin brother to death, according to court documents.
On Oct. 4, police in Baton Rouge took Timothy Paul Pitts, 56, into custody in connection to the death of his sibling, Daniel Pitts, WAFB reported, citing jail records.
According to an arrest warrant, the alleged beating between the brothers occurred on Sept. 16 at the home they shared. Daniel Pitts died from his injuries 13 days later, on Sept. 29.
The warrant states an autopsy determined Daniel Pitts suffered blunt force trauma to his neck and head.
Timothy Pitts was charged with second-degree murder and was being held at the East Parish Prison. A motive in the case was not released.
The investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing.
