Police placed Alfred Steele, 42, under arrest in connection to the death of Kelly Steele, 41, in Lower Burrell on May 14, the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office said.
“I almost fell on the floor because I couldn't believe it, and I couldn't believe it happened the way that it did,” Kim Bauman told KDKA-TV of her friend’s slaying.
“She was one of the sweetest people you'd ever meet,” Bauman continued. “She wouldn't hurt anybody. She'd bend over backward to help anyone she could.”
