Star UFC fighter Jon Jones arrested in Las Vegas in connection to domestic-violence case
UFC star Jon Jones was arrested in a domestic violence incident and remains behind bars in Las Vegas, according to court records and media reports.
Jones is being held in the Clark County jail on charges of misdemeanor domestic battery and tampering with a vehicle. His bail has been set at $8,000. He was arrested hours after he was honored by UFC, according to ESPN.
Jones was arrested around 5:45 a.m. at a resort near Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, according to ESPN.

The 34-year-old Jones is a highly regarded and high-profile fighter with UFC. He holds a 26-1-1 career record with 10 wins by knockout. He is currently ranked No. 1 on UFC’s men’s pound-for-pound top fighters list.
His last fight was in February 2020.
