Two women claim they were photographed and sexually assaulted while attending a laser hair removal clinic in Vancouver, Canada. Now, police say that worker has been charged in connection to alleged assaults.
According to authorities, an investigation began in 2019 after one person came forward and reported being sexually assaulted during their laser hair removal appointments at Dermabella Clinic in Vancouver, the Vancouver Police Department said.
While the investigation was taking place, authorities said a second victim came forward and stated they were photographed while naked and receiving treatment at the clinic.
Police said prosecutors approved charges in both these cases.
Officials said 50-year-old Ali Aghasardar was recently arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of voyeurism for offenses between January and October 2019.
Aghasardar was ordered not to be alone with any patient or client without another adult present for the duration of any treatment, officials said.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information they feel could be important to police should contact the Vancouver Police Department Sex Crimes Unit at (604) 717-0601.
