Miami Man Dragged Woman From Vehicle Before Stabbing, Running Over Her, Police Say

A man in Miami accused of dragging a woman from a vehicle, stabbing her and then running over has been charged with her slaying, authorities said.

Axel Ordonez-Diaz, 47, faces one count of second-degree murder with a weapon, and two counts of attempted murder, according to an incident report obtained by WTVJ.

Around 11 p.m. on Jan. 5, the arrest report states, police responded to reports of a man, later identified as Ordonez-Diaz, beating a woman.

Officer found the victim, Claudia Lucia Ordonez, 48, stabbed and lying dead in the street.

The report stated an investigation determined Ordonez-Diaz and Ordonez were in a fight when he allegedly dragged her from her vehicle before he beat and then stabbed her multiple times.

According to the report, the suspect jumped behind the wheel of the victim’s vehicle and ran her over and then slammed into a second vehicle.

The report states one of the two passengers in the second vehicle suffered a broken neck in the collision.

An officer arriving on the scene shot Ordonez-Diaz after the two got into a confrontation.

The suspect was treated at Jackson South Medical Center. Ordonez-Diaz was released into police custody on Jan. 22 and transported to jail, WTVJ reported.
