Victim identified in Montana slaying, a relative has been accused of murder

A woman was murdered in Montana days ago, and police say they have arrested a relative in connection to her killing.
The Yellowstone County Coroner’s Office announced this week that Cynthia Cook, 67, died of multiple stab wounds, Q2 News reported.
Cool was found dead inside her home in the 1200 block of Claim Jumper Lane in Billings, Montana, around 5 a.m. Dec. 4 after officers arrested a man acting suspiciously in the area, area to Q2 News.
Jonah Bergman, 29, was reported to be trespassing at the Country Inn and Suites after he refused to leave the business, Q2 News reported.
Soon after, police got a call that Bergman was at a nearby Town Pump, according to Q2 News.
He was found and detained by police while walking on Main Street, Q2 News reported.
Officers noticed “suspicious circumstances” that led them to conduct a welfare check on Cook at her home, according to Q2 News.
Police said Bergman and Cook are related, but how has not been released, Q2 News reported. Bergman is being held in the Yellowstone County jail, according to Q2 News.
