A man was robbed at a pizza joint, but he returned later and committed murder, police said.
The incident started around midnight on Jan. 1, according to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia. Shamanique Peter Mickle was robbed at Lago Pizza in Moneta, Virginia.
Hours later, Mickel returned to the restaurant, where he got into an argument with 49-year-old James Sipos. Police said Mickle then shot and killed Sipos, according to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators did not say what led to the disagreement between the two.
Mickle was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit murder and knowingly and intentionally possessing a firearm after having been convicted of a felony.
Another man, Clinton Minter, was also arrested and accused of committing the robbery on Mickle. He was charged with robbery by use of physical force.
Deputies say the investigation is ongoing.
