Months after a deadly shooting at a Virginia gas station, police say they arrested a suspect.
Last week, police in Norfolk, Virginia, announced the arrest of Kenneth L. Yates, 43.
Around 11:50 p.m. on July 9, police responded to a gas station on Ocean View Avenue for a person shot. When officers arrived, they found Todd Wilson, 31, suffering from life-threatening injuries.
He was later pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Investigators identified Yates as the suspect, and he was arrested last week. He was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm.
Police have not released a motive in the case, but family members of the victim told WAVY that the shooting happened during a carjacking.
