Virginia man dies from stab wounds, police say suspect arrested at scene of crime

An afternoon scuffle in Virginia left one man fatally stabbed and a second person charged with his murder, police say.
Around 3 p.m. on Dec. 11, police said officers responded to a call in the Blacksburg, Virginia, area.
At the scene, police said they found a man who had been stabbed.
Medics responded to the scene and tried to resuscitate the victim, Robert Custer, but he died from his wounds, The Roanoke Times reported.
Meanwhile, a suspect, Adam Nunnally, was also found at the scene, police said. Detectives processed the scene and questioned Nunnally.
Officials determined Nunnally was the alleged suspect and he was charged with second-degree murder. Investigators did not detail a possible motive for the killing.
Nunnally was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and is being held without bond, police said.
No other information has been released in time for this report.
