Man Went To A Tire Store Angry Over How Much They Charged His Daughter. Despite Being Shot, He's The One Police Charged.

A man was upset his niece got charged extra for tire repairs, so he went to the store to confront employees. Despite the uncle being the one shot, police say he now faces criminal charges.

Around 11:45 a.m. on Aug. 29, a deputy from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia was flagged down by people at Tires & Wheels Unlimited.

A man, later identified as Timothy Greenage, ran towards the officer and was bleeding from his abdomen, according to the sheriff’s office. Greenage told police that an employee shot him.

Greenage also said he got into an argument over his niece being charged extra for repairs.

The employee told police that Greenage had threatened them over the phone before coming to the store, according to the sheriff’s office. Greenage arrived and an argument ensued, then Greenage pulled out a gun.

The employee fired his own gun in self-defense, authorities said.

Investigators determined Greenage initiated the altercation and charged him with reckless handling of a firearm and assault and battery.
