High school girls' volleyball coach accused of sexually assaulting one of her players: reports
A high school girls volleyball coach is accused of sexually assaulting one of her teenage players, according to reports.
Elisabeth R. Bredemeier, 21, was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child by police in Chesterfield, Virginia. She was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Bredemeier is the girls’ volleyball coach at Richmond Christian School in Chesterfield, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Police have provided few details about the alleged assault but said the parents reported it to police.
The victim was a 17-year-old member of the team, according to WSPA.
The assaults took place off school grounds, according to the reports. Police noted that as a coach, Bredemeir had a position of authority over the victim.
