Police arrived at Waco man's home for a domestic disturbance. But, he said he killed his mom.

A man from Waco, Texas, allegedly murdered his mother on Memorial Day and confessed to police on the doorstep of his home.
On May 31, Waco police officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance.
When officers arrived, they met a man on the front porch, who was later identified as Lonnie Bishop, 33. As officers were talking to him, they heard him say that his mother was dead and he had killed her, according to police.
Out of concern, the officers took him into custody and entered the home, according to the Waco Police Department.
Inside, officers found a woman lying in a bed with injuries from blunt force trauma.
The woman was identified as Yun Bishop, 57, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the department.
Officers determined that Yun Bishop was Lonnie Bishop’s mother.
Lonnie Bishop has been arrested, transported to the McLennan County Jail, and charged with murder. He is being held without bond.
