Elderly couple found dead in their Washington home, son accused of murder: police
A man who was told not to have contact with his parents was found in their home with their dead bodies, according to police in Washington.
Around 5 p.m. on Oct. 31, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in the Maytown area of Washington. A family member was concerned and asked the police to check on the occupants.
When deputies arrived, nobody answered the door, according to the sheriff’s office. But deputies could see a person on the ground in the residence.

Deputies forced their way into the home and found a man and woman, both in their 70s, dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victims’ 30-year-old son was also in the home, despite him having a no-contact order, police said. Detectives spoke to the son and arrested him.
The son was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and other felony charges. The suspect’s name has not been released as he has not been formally charged, police said.
