Argument leads to shooting, killing on Washington highway, police said.

An argument between two men on a Washington highway led to a shooting that left one person dead, police said.
Around 3 a.m. on Oct. 24, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said a shooting was reported on a highway in Graham, Washington.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a 28-year-old man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound, officials said.
There were about 20 people gathered around the scene and they told police the shooter fled the scene and went inside a house.
Officials said witnesses informed deputies that an argument led up to the shooting.
Medical personnel attempted life-saving measures on the victim, but he died at the scene, deputies said.
The 39-year-old suspect was located inside the home and police took him into custody, according to authorities. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail and has been charged with second-degree murder, officials said.
Sheriff's deputies have not released the name of the suspect.
The incident remains under investigation.
