A serial wedding crasher has been arrested after she allegedly stole money and gifts that were meant for the bride and groom, according to authorities.
On Sept. 30, Sandra Lynn Henson was taken into custody while attending a wedding reception even though she was never invited, according to the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department.
Henson was charged with petit larceny, trespassing and disturbing the peace, officials said.
She has previously been arrested in Alabama, Tennessee and other counties in Mississippi for “crashing weddings and stealing money and cards from purses,” authorities said.
Officials noted Henson was also currently wanted in Alabama.
On Aug. 1, 2019, Henson was arrested in Florence, Alabama, after she stole gifts from two different weddings. She was charged with third-degree theft of property and fourth-degree theft of property.

Henson was dubbed the “Mid-South Wedding Crasher” after she snuck into a dozen weddings and receptions, WATN-TV reported.
In 2021, she was sentenced to five years in prison, but court records indicate she was released on parole.
At her sentencing in 2021, Henson's husband apologized for his wife's actions, WATN-TV reported.
"All I can say to the families is from our family, we are very sorry for any pain you’ve experienced and I’m very deeply sorry," he said.
