Hillary Dennison first told police that a nail gun malfunctioned, causing the injuries, according to a criminal complaint.

Later she admitted that she shot at Harold Dennison and killed both her dad and Beau, her fiancé.

Police found evidence at the scene to confirm it was a gunshot from a pistol that killed the victims, according to the criminal complaint. Witness said they also saw Hillary Dennison trying to give aid to the two men after the shooting.
