74-year-old pastor arrested in child pornography investigation, police say
A 74-year-old pastor had child pornography, police say, and now faces decades in prison.
Peter Olson faces four counts of possession of child pornography. He was arrested on Wednesday in Monona, Wisconsin. According to his Facebook page, Olson is the founder and lead pastor at Agape Feast Creative and Outreach Ministry.
A police investigation started after a referral from the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, according to Monona police. That led to a warrant to search the pastor’s home.
There, police say, they found electronic devices that led to his arrest on the child porn counts.
Olson was booked into Dane County jail and is being held on the charges. Each charge of possession of child pornography is punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
The incident remains under investigation. If anyone has information on the case, they are asked to contact police at (608) 222-0463 or CrimeStoppers at (608) 266-6014.
