15-year-old accused in connection to a fatal shooting in Wisconsin will face charges as an adult

A 15-year-old has been charged as an adult in connection to the murder of another teen in Wisconsin, officials announced.
Dante T. Wilson was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, possession of a firearm on grounds of a school and possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under age 18, according to police in Beloit, Wisconsin.
The victim’s body was discovered between two houses in the 300 block of Portland Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. on Sept. 5, according to WMTV.
However, police believe the shooting likely occurred on Sept. 3, WMTV reported.
Officials have not yet identified the victim, and an autopsy was completed on Sept. 8, according to WMTV. The victim was 19-years-old.
Investigators had not released a possible motive for the shooting.
Beloit police arrested the suspect at Beloit Memorial High School, where they allegedly found a gun in his bag, WMTV reported.
Wilson remains in Rock County Jail and is being held on $50,000 bail.
