Wisconsin woman found dead in garage, relative living with her accused of murder

A 97-year-old Wisconsin woman was found dead in her garage and now police say a 37-year-old relative living with her at the time has been charged with her murder.
Around 5:30 a.m. June 8, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a 911 call from a home in the Town of Center.
Authorities said the caller had gone to the home to check on the elderly woman and found her body in the home’s garage.

According to police, Jamie Beggs, 37, was temporarily staying with Kathleen Beggs, 97, at the time the murder took place.
Officials have stated the two were related, but they have not elaborated on what that relationship is or the motive for the alleged killing.
On June 18, police said a person of interest was in custody on an unrelated charge and then on June 23, they confirmed that person of interest was Jamie.
Jamie was arrested for the crime while in jail on June 23 and he has been charged with first-degree murder, police said.
