Wisconsin Woman Accused Of Decapitating Lover During Drug-Fueled Sex Rampage Attacks Her Own Attorney: VIDEO
Feb. 15 2023, Updated 12:20 p.m. ET
A Wisconsin woman accused of dismembering the body of her lover after choking him during drug-fueled sex appeared in court and attacked her own attorney, video shows.
On Feb. 14, Taylor Schabusiness, 25, jumped her attorney, Quinn Jolly, in a Green Bay courtroom, hitting him in the head with her elbow.
Jolly did not appear to suffer any serious injuries.
At the time of the attack, a proceeding was underway to determine whether Schabusiness is fit to stand trial, and the altercation occurred after a witness failed to show up to testify about her mental state.
Jolly was to introduce testimony from an expert witness, but he informed the judge that the expert had not yet completed the necessary report.
The defense attorney asked the judge for a two-week continuance, which the judge reluctantly agreed to, postponing the trial and suggesting a May 15 trial instead.
Video footage obtained by WITI shows that's when Schabusiness jumped out of her seat, tried to grab at Jolly’s arm and hit him in the head with her elbow.
A Brown County sheriff’s officer sprung into action and tackled Schabusiness to the ground, but he struggled to keep her down during the roughly minute-long incident.
A court employee told people at the hearing to clear the courtroom. Two more sheriff’s officers arrived and got Schabusiness under control before they sat her up against a door and then led her out of the courtroom.

Th court session resumed about 10 minutes after the attack, and Jolly informed the judge that he was planning on filing a motion to be removed as Schabusiness’ lawyer.
Schabusiness was arrested after her lover, Shad Rock Thyrion, was found slain inside his mother’s house in February 2022. Shad’s mother found his decapitated head in a bucket in the family's basement.
Authorities claim Schabusiness used a knife and dismembered Thyrion’s body after they consumed illegal drugs and she allegedly choked him to death while having sex. Police say she admitted to giving oral sex and using a sex toy on Thyrion after he was dead.
Schabusiness has been charged with first degree homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree sexual assault. She has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental illness or defect.
