A Florida woman and her infant daughter were found dead in a car and now police say a man staying with them is wanted on two counts of murder.
On Sept. 7, police were called to a residence in Orange County, Florida, for a man who said he had been shot multiple times by a friend, according to authorities.
Officials said that friend was later identified as 21-year-old Doujon Griffiths.
The shooting victim was taken to a hospital for his injuries, where he continues to receive treatment, authorities said.

Officials said a family member of the victim later contacted police, saying they were unable to get in touch with the victim’s girlfriend, 20-year-old Massania Malcolm, and her 1-year-old daughter, Jordania.
Police went to check out the couples’ apartment, but no one was home and there were no signs of foul play, WESH reported.
At the hospital, the victim regained consciousness again and told police that he was shot by Griffiths in a car.
The victim also said that his girlfriend, Malcolm, may have also been shot, but Griffiths drove off with her and the child.
Around 2 p.m. on Sept. 9, police said they found the vehicle in a parking lot and both the mother and daughter were dead in the car.
Griffiths had been staying with the couple before the shooting took place, WESH reported.
He is now wanted in the deaths of Malcolm and Jordania and will be charged with first-degree murder in those deaths, officials said. The hunt for Griffiths was ongoing as of Sept. 15.
