A woman in Alabama has been arrested after police say she allegedly tried to run down pedestrians with her SUV and then assaulted a nurse while receiving treatment at the hospital.
On the afternoon of April 24, officers responded to reports of a woman in a gray SUV allegedly attempting to run over pedestrians on Memphis Street in Dothan, according to the Dothan Police Department.
Police claim the woman, later identified as 66-year-old Robin Osborne Morse, initially tried to hit people walking in the roadway.
After missing her alleged targets, Morse reportedly stopped her vehicle and started yelling at the pedestrians.
The pedestrians were able to get past Morse's SUV, but they told police the suspect again drove her vehicle toward them, according to police.
During the incident, Morse reportedly drove over a curb, crashed into a home and then drove away from the scene.
Police then received a report about a gray SUV that had crashed.
Recognizing the description of the vehicle, police immediately responded to the second scene, which Morse also had fled.

A short time later, officers received a third report of a gray SUV involved in a crash. This time, police say they were able to take Morse into custody since her vehicle had been “disabled” by the final crash.
After the three crashes, Morse was transported to an area hospital for treatment. While at the hospital, authorities said the suspect became disorderly with both officers and nurses.
