Teen Was Playing With A Gun In Backseat Of A Car When He Accidentally Pulled The Tigger, Killing An Innocent Woman: Cops

A teen was playing with a gun in the car, and an innocent woman was killed when it went off. Now, the alleged shooter faces several charges.
On Oct. 25, police announced charges against the unnamed 16-year-old boy. He was charged with manslaughter, minor in possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm and tampering with physical evidence.
Around 2 p.m., police in Mesa, Arizona, responded to a mall for a reported shooting. Initial calls stated that a woman was shot by a bullet that came through the front car windshield, according to police.

However, police determined that the gun was fired from inside her vehicle.
Authorities spoke to the teen, who said he was playing with a gun in the backseat when he pulled the trigger accidentally. The bullet went through the back passenger seat and hit 20-year-old Elena Hernandez.
She was taken to the hospital, where Hernandez was pronounced dead.
