A Man Admitted To Killing His Wife, Police Say. He Said He Blacked Out After Hitting Her.

A man admitted to hitting his wife, then blacking out while she was beaten to death, according to a report.
This week, police in West Virginia arrested Zachary Hess Dawson in connection to the murder of his partner Marissa Mann Bennett, according to West Virginia Daily News.
Recently, police in Alderson, West Virginia, were sent to a home around 9 p.m. after friends called 911 after finding Bennett unresponsive. Bennet had facial injuries and appeared to be thrown through the residence.
Police said the victim’s clothes had been changed and a bathroom was cleaned with cleaning solvent, according to the report.
Dawson was identified as the suspect and later found driving along the road. A State Police trooper stopped him and saw blood on his clothing, necklace and inside the vehicle, according to the report.
Dawson admitted he killed his wife, the Daily News noted. Dawson said he hit her and blacked out. When he came to, he said, he knew he messed up.
Police arrested Dawson and he is being held without bond in jail.
